No Bake Peanut Butter Banana Granola Bites are a healthy treat for breakfast or afternoon snack!
I don’t know if it’s just me…but oh my gosh, is there a better combination than banana and peanut butter?! Ever since I was little, that has always been my go-to favorite combo. I can remember my mom making me peanut butter and banana sandwiches when I was little.
I would pack the sandwiches for lunch and since bananas normally don’t stay good once they are opened, they would become mushy, but I loved it that way. Those sandwiches were the highlight of my childhood years!
Last week, I had some ripe bananas and knew I needed a weekly snack to take with me to work so instead of whipping up a banana bread, I decided to play around in the kitchen and create some no bake peanut butter and banana granola bites.
These little guys were perfect for afternoon snack and are even healthy enough to eat for breakfast. They should be kept in the freezer because they don’t stay as fresh when left out. Unless you want to eat them all in one day, of course!
I topped mine with granola, but feel free to add whatever you would like. I think they would be great with chocolate chips, too!
