Things I’m Loving Friday
Hi friends! Happy Friday – it has been a short week over here but it definitely didn’t feel like it. Why are the weeks after the holiday always the longest? I took some time off of the blog around Christmas and the New Year to totally soak up time with family and friends, and while I missed everyone, it was so nice to get that break!
Friday favorite posts have been few and far between lately but one of my goals for 2018 is to start them back up. So many people tell me that this is their favorite type of post of mine, so I’m excited to share with you my favorite products, TV shows, foods, music, really ANYTHING that I have been loving that week.
If you don’t want to miss a post, make sure you are subscribed to my blog – just enter your email in the box to the right titled “Subscribe to blog via email”
Also don’t forget to comment on this post or my Instagram and tell me your favorite thing from the week! I want to know!
- Studio Wrap from Athleta
GIRLS – you need this Studio Wrap from Athleta. It is my favorite piece of clothing that I currently own and I’m pretty sure I wear it almost every day, especially because I’m a huge fan of layering. The wrap is perfect because its heavy enough to keep you warm, but was light enough to use as the perfect transition piece from fall to winter.
There are also three magnets, one on the upper left chest and and then on the end of each flap, so you can style it in all different ways. I wear it seriously everywhere – to the gym to workout, to work (looks great with leggings), when I’m walking around the city.
I first discovered it from my friend Sylvia, who was raving about it, and I knew I had to have it! I love it so much that I actually just got one for my mom for her birthday! It is a staple piece and worth the investment, which actually isn’t too pricey.
- Athleta Prana Wrap
This kale, cashew & basil pesto was popping up all around Instagram and I knew I had to have it so I made my way over to Trader Joe’s to grab some for myself and I’m in love with it. It is completely dairy-free, unlike most other pesto so anyone with dairy problems should not have an issue with this. I’ve put it on everything from vegetables, to pasta, to even topping my sweet potato with it. You’ll love it, too!
- My Awesome, Kindhearted Boyfriend
It was time to give T a huge shout-out on here. Tom is hands down the most gentle, loving, FUN, inspirational, boy I have ever met and I’m so lucky that I get to call him my boyfriend. Last week when I was super busy with work and other things, Tom went and took my car to the shop, got them to fix my mirrors (which got side-swiped on my street) and then back home. He also is constantly lending me a hand with all of the things I’m feeling overwhelmed with, he helps me do my laundry (Yes, really), and would bend over backwards to make anyone happy. Everyone who knows the kid, knows he has a huge heart. And since our two year anniversary is this month I thought I would recognize just how amazing the kid is.
