Healthy Banana Bread Muffins

Healthy Banana Bread Muffins are the perfect healthy on-the-go breakfast or snack! They are made from healthy whole wheat flour, honey, and ingredients found in your pantry!

  • 2 cups white whole wheat flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/3 cup melted + cooled coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas (about 3 bananas)
  • 1/4 cup milk of choice (I used almond milk)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips


  1. Preheat oven to 325F and prepare muffin tin.
  2. In a large bowl mix flour, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix oil and honey together.
  4. Add in whisked eggs and stir.
  5. Add in mashed bananas, milk, and vanilla.
  6. Add dry ingredients to wet and stir to combine.
  7. If desired, add in chocolate chips.
  8. Divide into greased or lined muffin tins and bake for 23-25 min or use toothpick to test.
  9. Enjoy!
