Key Ingredients to make Healthy Strawberry Pretzel Salad
– Strawberries – Pretzels – Maple syrup – Cream cheese – Cool whip
Preheat oven and grease a baking dish. In a food processor, pulse pretzels then add in melted butter and maple syrup.
Press pretzel mix into bottom of baking dish and bake. Meanwhile, make filling by blending together cream cheese, vanilla, and maple syrup. Pour filling into a bowl.
Add defrosted cool whip to bowl, and fold into cream cheese mixture. Top pretzels with cream cheese mixture and put in fridge to chill.
Heat strawberries and maple syrup in a pan. Smash strawberries into compote. Add in lemon juice and arrowroot slurry. Turn off heat and add vanilla
Once jam has reached room temperature, pour over top of chilled pretzel and cream cheese mixture. Let cool in fridge and enjoy!
