Banana Date Smoothie

Fuel up and cool down with a refreshing, icy Banana Date Smoothie. This 9 ingredient treat is made in less than 5 minutes, quenches thirst, and satisfies sweet treat cravings!

Ingredients

  • 6 ice cubes
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 dates, pitted
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (about 1/4 cup)
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch salt
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • optional but recommended: 1/4 tsp acacia fiber, chia seeds, or xantham gum for thickening.

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high powered blender in order as listed.
  2. Blend until completely smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
  3. Pour into a large glass and sprinkle with additional cinnamon.
