Cherry Almond Smoothie

Cherries and almonds go together like peanut butter and jelly – they just make sense. Enjoy these complimentary flavors in my cherry almond smoothie recipe. Sweet and lightly tart, this protein-rich smoothie is the yummiest way to start your day.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 6 ice cubes
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1/2 tsp almond extract
  • 3/4 cup almond milk

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in blender in order as listed.
  2. Blend until smooth and pour into two glasses.
  3. Enjoy!
