Fall Sangria

My fall sangria recipe transforms a summertime classic into an autumnal dream; it’s made with cinnamon sticks, apple cider, and fresh seasonal fruit. Whip up a pitcher in just minutes and savor its fresh, lightly spiced flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine – Pinot Noir or Rioja preferred
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1/3 cup Grand Marnier
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 cup plain seltzer
  • 1 granny smith apple, sliced
  • 1 red apple, sliced
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 4 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

  1. To a large pitcher, add sliced fruit and cinnamon sticks.
  2. Pour red wine on top, along with apple cider, Grand Marnier, maple syrup, and seltzer. Use a wooden spoon to stir.
  3. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving, or serve over ice. Enjoy!
