Healthy Shamrock Shake

Give your favorite green shake a healthier spin with this Healthy Shamrock Shake recipe. Made with spinach, protein powder, almond butter, and more, it tastes just like the real thing!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach (1 cup fresh)
  • 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • 1 tbsp flax meal or chia seeds
  • 1/4 tsp peppermint extract
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 – 1 cup almond milk depending on how thick you desire
  • mini chocolate chips for topping

Instructions

  1. Add ingredients as listed to high powered blender.
  2. Blend until completely smooth, scraping down sides as needed.
  3. Pour into a large glass. Optional: top with mini chocolate chips.
