Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup Bachman’s Japanese BBQ sauce (sub any other bbq sauce)
- Non-stick spray
Instructions
- Marinate your chicken at least 4 hours or overnight in a ziplock bag.
- Heat your grill to high. Let heat up until about 450F.
- Once hot, spray with nonstick spray. Alternatively use tongues and a paper towel coated in olive oil to grease grates.
- Add chicken directly to heat top side down and reduce heat to medium-high. Close the lid and let cook 6 minutes on the first side, flipping after 6 minutes is done. Close the lid.
- Let cook another 6 minutes. Using a meat thermometer, check internal temperature after those 6 minutes are up. You want chicken to be 155F when you take it off, because it will continue to cook after removed from heat. If it is lower than 155F, let chicken cook longer with lid closed.
- Let chicken breasts rest at least 10 minutes before cutting into.
