Give sloppy joe night a remix with these Healthy Sloppy Joes! They’re made with all of the same classic ingredients like beef, seasonings, ketchup, and tomato sauce, but with lots of veggies added! It’s an easy-to-make meal that the entire family will love.

– Olive oil – Vegetables – Garlic – Beef – Seasonings – Honey – Worcestershire sauce – Apple cider vinegar – Tomato sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat, then add onions, carrots, celery, and pepper, cooking for about 5-6 minutes until softened, followed by adding garlic and cooking for another minute.
Add ground beef, breaking it up and cooking until no longer pink, then stir in salt, chili powder, and onion powder until combined. Incorporate honey, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, tomato sauce, ketchup, and water, stirring until combined, and let simmer over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until thickened, adjusting consistency with more liquid if needed.
Serve 2/3 cup of the meat mixture on each bun with a slice of cheddar cheese on top, and enjoy!
