Ingredients

Burgers:

  • 1lb ground turkey (93/7 preferred)
  • 1/2 small yellow onion
  • 3 tbsp buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/2 cup almond flour (or breadcrumbs)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano

Sauce + Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese crumbles
  • sliced cheddar, lettuce, pickles, buns

Instructions

  1. Add turkey to a large bowl. Grate onion into turkey using a box grater.
  2. Mix in buffalo sauce, crumbled blue cheese, almond flour, salt, pepper, and oregano. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form into 6 even patties.
  4. Heat a large nonstick skillet with 3 tbsp avocado oil over medium heat, and once hot, add burgers.
  5. Cook for 5 minutes, flip, then turn the heat to medium low. Cover for the next 5 minutes so the inside cooks. Repeat until all burgers are cooked.
  6. While burgers are cooking, mix together remaining buffalo sauce and blue cheese. Pour and brush over cooked burgers to coat.
  7. Add burgers to buns with desired fixings.
