Soup Dumpling Meatballs

Enjoy the flavor of your favorite soup dumplings in these Soup Dumpling Meatballs. Made with ground turkey, garlic, green onion, and more, they’re high in protein and flavor too!

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 1lb ground turkey (93/7 blend)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumb (or almond flour)
  • 2 clove minced garlic
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 2 tbsp reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Sauce

  • 1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp chili oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, add all of the meatball ingredients. Mix together until well combined.
  2. Roll into 20 meatballs. Heat a large skillet over medium heat with 2 tbsp olive oil. Once hot, add meatballs and cook for 7-8 minutes, turning every constantly to ensure even cooking on all sides. Once meatballs reach 165F they are done.
  3. Meanwhile, add all sauce ingredients to a small saucepan. Bring to a low simmer and turn off heat.
  4. Once meatballs are cooked, turn heat off and pour in sauce to cover meatballs, tossing to coat. Serve meatballs over rice and with veggies.
