I'm a huge cookie fanatic as of late, and I'm not sure where it came from. Normally I'd go for anything creamy for dessert (like ice cream!), but lately I've just been in a cookie mood and have felt the pull to have them stocked at all times.
I think part of it is because I've been craving my flourless almond butter cookies. I whipped up a batch, and my cookie kick began. Now, I'm coming at 'cha live with this delicious peanut butter chocolate chip cookie recipe, which is basically perfect for anyone who likes both types and is up for trying them as one delicious mega-flavor cookie.

To make these easy peanut butter cookies, you'll only need 10 simple ingredients. Just 10! And that includes the givens like the sea salt and vanilla. If you're a regular baker or sweet treat connoisseur, you probably already have most of these ingredients hiding in your pantry.

How to make peanut butter chocolate chip cookies

First up, we have almond and coconut flour. These two ingredients were used in place of all-purpose flour and serve as wonderful alternatives health wise. They're more nutrient rich, and they help to create light, fluffy, chewy cookies.
Peanut butter
Nut butters are a great way to sneak extra protein into your diet, especially when you go with the natural versions. That way, you're avoiding all of the harsh chemicals included in the processed brands. With nut butters, all-natural is a must!
Coconut oil
If you know me, you know I never use vegetable or canola oil. Instead, I stick to coconut oil, a more well-rounded, nutrient-rich alternative. It's a great source of healthy fats and works wonderfully as a baking oil.
Coconut sugar
Though I love sweetening my baked treats with maple syrup or honey, this recipe needed something heartier. I turned to my trusty runner up, coconut sugar, for the perfect flavor. I will always use this type of sugar in place of granulated because it's got a better nutritional makeup and a lower glycemic index!

I'd say 4.5 stars. I also could have done something wrong, but the flavor is absolutely on-point with these. The only think is that mine kind of stayed in balls (not sure if I'm supposed to flatten them out or not) and they kind of fell apart really easy, but again that could have been my fault and they tasted amazing!!!

I've made these twice, and both times when I opened the oven at 15 minutes, the cookie dough balls had not flattened AT ALL. Not sure if I did something wrong, or if this recipe is missing a step that you need to flatten the dough. The cookie honestly just tastes like chocolate chips and salt so be sure to add plenty!
