White Chocolate Peanut Butter Ritz

A delicious and easy white chocolate peanut butter ritz dessert

If you like peanut butter and you dig white chocolate, you are in for a treat with this white chocolate peanut butter ritz recipe! We’re taking all of these tasty ingredients and adding marshmallow fluff for a rich and creamy treat that’s sure to satisfy your sweet tooth and have you counting down the minutes until it’s time for dessert again.

This easy recipe comes together by assembling the crackers and then dipping them in melted white chocolate. The end result is a chocolate covered cookie style treat with the perfect salty and sweet ratio that tastes as good as candy! Let’s get started.

White Chocolate Peanut Butter Ritz

Ingredients in white chocolate peanut butter ritz

To make white chocolate peanut butter ritz, you will need only 5 ingredients.

  • Ritz crackers: First up for this recipe, you will need 56 Ritz crackers.
  • Peanut butter: 1 cup of peanut butter is the perfect amount for these crackers. You can use crunchy or creamy peanut butter. If preferred, feel free to use almond butter, cashew butter, or any other nut butter.
  • Marshmallow fluff: Marshmallow fluff is the secret ingredient in this snack! You will need 1 cup.
  • White chocolate: Next up is 16oz of white chocolate chips. This is going to make the most delicious outer layer.
  • Sprinkles: Last but not least, grab some holiday sprinkles to finish off these treats.

Kitchen tools used to make peanut butter ritz dipped in white chocolate

To make these white chocolate peanut butter crackers, you will need a few kitchen tools. Before you begin, gather the following: baking sheet, parchment paper, knife, microwave-safe bowl, stirring utensil, fork, and 1 cup sized measuring cup.

How to make chocolate peanut butter ritz cookies

These ritz cracker cookies come together in hardly any time at all. Prep time is a breeze, requiring only around 15 minutes for full assembly. Total time depends on whether you let the crackers harden at room temperature or in the fridge or freezer.

First, lay all of the Ritz crackers round side down on the baking sheet.

Add 1 tsp of peanut butter to 28 crackers. To the other 28, add 1 tsp of fluff. Press the crackers together so that they’re tight, but not so much that the fillings are oozing out.

Then, melt the white chocolate at half power in the microwave. Stir every 30 seconds.

Once melted, dunk the cracker sandwiches into the melted chocolate, tossing to coat completely. Use a fork to transfer the crackers from the bowl to a parchment lined sheet pan. You can also use wax paper. Feel free to drizzle any excess chocolate over the crackers.

Sprinkle with holiday sprinkles and chill in the refrigerator until the chocolate coating hardens. Optionally let harden on the counter at room temperature.

Substitution Tip

Wondering about ingredient swaps? This recipe allows for a few!

Ritz crackers
Though ritz taste incredible in this recipe, other crackers work too. Have saltines on hand? Perfect!

Peanut butter
When it comes to the nut butter, you have plenty of options! Any nut butter or nut butter alternative is fine — almond, cashew, sunflower seed, you name it!

White chocolate
You can use any different type of chocolate or chips that you prefer. Rather have a chocolatey flavor? Go with semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips! Want more peanut butter? Use peanut butter chips! Anything works here. Any brand is fine too, whether Enjoy Life, Nestle, Ghirardelli, or anything else.

Recipe Tips

Are Ritz peanut butter crackers good?

This recipe may make this seem like a biased answer, but yes! Ritz are arguably one of the best cracker types out there. They’re crunchy and buttery and delicious!

Who makes Ritz peanut butter crackers?

Ritz are made by Nabisco/Kraft Foods.

Do Ritz crackers have peanuts in them?

Ritz crackers are made without peanuts, but this recipe of course is not! If looking for a nut-free option, you can substitute the peanut butter with sunflower seed butter or other nut-free alternatives.

Can I harden these in the freezer?

Of course! It’s not necessary, but it’s definitely a faster option than refrigerating the treats or letting them harden at room temperature.

Storing leftovers

These Ritz cracker treats can be stored in an airtight container and kept at room temperature. You can optionally refrigerate them for a longer shelf life, but it is not required.

I don’t have a regular oven in my new apartment, so baking christmas cookies this year seemed impossible. Then here you come saving the day with the easiest, most delicious no-bake recipe! Everyone I’ve already gifted these to is obsessed and so am I. I’m not even usually a white chocolate person, but I made these with both white and semi-sweet chocolate and the white chocolate just brings out the flavors better!

I have a Costco size box of Ritz crackers left over from a football party and bless Erin’s soul for creating these to help me burn a hole in that box AND make giftable delicious treats. PB + Fluff + Ritz = ELW brilliance.
