Yummy hot honey baked feta
I’ve really been enjoying creating new dip recipes to share with you all! After making my whipped feta with hot honey, I knew I had to try making baked feta with hot honey next. And let me tell you, this spicy baked feta recipe did not disappoint!
Baked feta is not only delicious, but it’s also incredibly easy to make and ready in only a few minutes. The salty, creamy feta cheese is perfectly balanced by the sweet-and-spicy flavor of the hot honey, while the crunchy chili crunch adds texture and an extra layer of flavor.
Together, these flavors create a heavenly combination that you won’t be able to get enough of.
Ingredients needed
This baked feta recipe is made using 4 simple ingredients. No, really – it’s that easy!
Hereโs a bit more about what I used:
- Feta: The base of this recipe starts with a block of feta. Feta cheese is a salty and tangy cheese that adds the perfect amount of creaminess to your dish. You’ll need 14 oz.
- Olive Oil: This is used to coat the feta cheese and help it bake up nice and crispy. If you are not a fan of olive oil, you can substitute it with another oil of your choice. I also like to use avocado oil. You’ll need about 2 tablespoons.
- Hot Honey: This is what makes the dish spicy, sweet, and flavorful! Hot honey adds an amazing flavor to the dish without being too overwhelming. My favorite is Mike’s Hot Honey or the Trader Joe’s version.
- Chili Crunch: I love adding chili crunch for a little extra flavor and texture. You can find it in the grocery store or online. Trader Joe’s has a deliciously spicy chili crunch that goes great with the feta.
